Welcome to c2kministries.org (the "Website" or "Site"), operated by C2k Ministries Inc., a nonprofit organization (EIN 20-8383954) ("C2k Ministries," "we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who visits our Site, donates to our mission, registers a student for our programs, or communicates with us — including by text message. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.


By using our Site or our services (including our RE>DIRECT text messaging program), you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

## 1. Information We Collect


**Contact and general site information.** If you fill out our contact form or sign up for updates, we collect your name and email address.


**Program registration information.** Parents/guardians who register a student for the RE>DIRECT After School Program provide information through our registration site, including the parent/guardian's name, phone number, and email; the student's name and grade; and the name and phone number of the household's assigned Mentor Specialist contact.


**Donation information.** Online donations are processed by a third-party platform, GiveLively (secure.givelively.org), not by C2k Ministries directly. GiveLively collects and processes payment and donor information under its own privacy policy; we receive donor name, contact information, and gift details from GiveLively so we can send acknowledgments and maintain donor records. We do not collect or store your credit card information ourselves.


**Volunteer and board applications.** If you apply to volunteer or join our board, you provide information through our online application forms, including your name, contact information, and application responses.


**Text messaging program information.** See Section 2 below.


**Automatically collected information.** Like most websites, we automatically collect certain information about your visit, such as your IP address, general geographic location, browser type, pages viewed, and the date/time of your visit, through cookies and similar tools (see Section 4).

## 2. Our Text Messaging (SMS) Program


C2k Ministries operates a text messaging program that connects parents/guardians of students enrolled in the RE>DIRECT After School Program with their child's assigned Mentor Specialist.


**How you opt in.** You are enrolled in this texting program only if you affirmatively opt in by checking the SMS consent box and providing your mobile number during student registration. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of enrollment in any C2k Ministries program.


**Information we collect through this program:** your mobile phone number, your opt-in/opt-out status, and the content and timestamps of messages exchanged between you and C2k Ministries staff (including Mentor Specialists).


**What we send.** Messages relate to your child's participation in the RE>DIRECT program, and may include: early/late release and pickup notices, praise reports, attendance and absence follow-ups, requests for progress reports or documents, and responses to questions you send us. This is not a marketing or promotional messaging program.


**Message frequency.** Frequency varies based on your child's activity in the program; you should typically expect approximately 1–2 messages per month.


**Message and data rates may apply.** Rates depend on your mobile carrier and plan.


**How to opt out.** You may cancel text messages at any time. Text **"STOP," "CANCEL," "END," "QUIT,"** or **"UNSUBSCRIBE"** to the number you receive our messages from. You will receive one final message confirming your opt-out, and we will not send further texts unless you opt back in. If you are enrolled in the program for more than one child, you only need to opt out once — the opt-out applies to your phone number across the program.


**How to get help.** Text **"HELP"** to the number you receive our messages from, or call our office at **(662) 371-8383**, or email **admin@c2kministries.org**, and we'll respond with assistance.


**How we protect and share text messaging data.** No mobile information collected through this program will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of information exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Our texting program is powered by Twilio, our SMS service provider, which processes messages on our behalf and is contractually bound to keep this information confidential and to use it only to deliver our messages.

## 3. How We Use Your Information


We use the information we collect to:


- Communicate with you about your child's enrollment, attendance, and progress in our programs

- Operate the text messaging program described in Section 2

- Process and acknowledge donations

- Respond to volunteer and board applications

- Send occasional email updates and stories to people who sign up for them

- Maintain accurate program and donor records

- Improve our Site and our programs

- Comply with legal obligations and protect the safety of the students and families we serve


## 4. Cookies and Analytics


Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies (such as web beacons and pixel tags) to remember your preferences and understand how visitors use our Site. We use Google Analytics to help us understand site traffic in aggregate, without identifying you personally. You can learn more or opt out of Google Analytics [here](https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en). Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect some Site functionality.


Where available, we honor recognized opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC).


## 5. Who We Share Information With


We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers who help us operate our programs and Site, each of whom is only permitted to use your information to provide services to us:


- **Twilio** — sends and receives text messages for our SMS program (see Section 2 for the specific protections on texting data)

- **Google** — hosts the spreadsheets and services we use to manage student registration and program records

- **GiveLively** — processes online donations

- **Zoho** — stores documents families submit to us (such as excuse notes and report cards)

- **Cloudflare** — hosts our websites and applications


We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of a student, family member, or staff member.


## 6. Children's Privacy


Our RE>DIRECT program serves K-12 students, but all registration, texting, and account information is provided to us by the student's parent or guardian — we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through our Site. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information directly, please contact us at admin@c2kministries.org and we will delete it.


## 7. Data Retention and Security


We retain program, donation, and messaging records for as long as needed to operate our programs, meet legal and grant-reporting obligations, and maintain historical records, after which we securely delete or archive the information. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.


## 8. Your Choices and Rights


You can:


- Opt out of text messages at any time (Section 2)

- Unsubscribe from email updates using the link in any email, or by contacting us

- Ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us at admin@c2kministries.org


We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these choices.


## 9. Changes to This Policy


We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective Date" at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of our Site or programs after a change means you accept the updated policy.
